Column goods lift – EC series
Column goods lifts make it possible to build special-purpose lifts (EUP, Élévateur à Usage Particulier) with no accompanying personnel, for long travel with small platform dimensions. For this application, they complement the double and triple scissor industrial goods lifts.
Options and special equipment
- Design and manufacture of non-standard platforms, travel and number of levels served.
- Wire mesh or sheet metal shaft, or shaft sections, with landing doors suited to the environment.
- Corrosion protection by hot-dip galvanising.
- Design and components for installation in ATEX zones.
Column lift on site
- Platform made of smooth or chequer plate, cantilevered in front of 2 vertical guide columns to be fixed to the floor and against a self-supporting wall.
- The platform is raised by a chain reeved over the head of a vertical hydraulic cylinder installed between the 2 columns.
- Single-acting cylinder with chrome-plated steel rod.
- Electro-hydraulic power unit and control cabinet connected to the lift by 3 m of cables and hoses.
- 230 or 400 V three-phase 50 Hz power supply.
- 2 key-locking up / down / emergency stop push-button control boxes, powered at 24 V, intended to be installed one at each level.
- Electromechanical lock fixed to the guide columns, mechanically locking the platform at maximum travel (transfer level).
- Relays in the electrical cabinet for two electromagnetic locks, supplied separately as a kit, to be fitted to the access doors.
- Limit, safety and position switches, etc., of the mechanical type with IP 65 plastic housing.
- FR-N05-VV5-F series electrical cables.
- The lift is designed for a maximum of 5 complete cycles per hour, in continuous operation for 8 hours a day, 5 consecutive days a week
- Finish paint: Grey 7043
- Dual hydraulic safety system: a pipe-rupture valve built into the cylinder and an electrically piloted check valve at the base of the cylinder, to hold and immobilise the platform in position when there is no electrical power and in the event of accidental pipe rupture.
- Factory-set pressure relief valve preventing the lifting of any load greater than 1.1 times the rated capacity of the lift.
- Electrical upper limit switch, which automatically stops the platform rising at maximum travel.
- 24 V up/down controls with mushroom-head emergency stop.
- Every unit is systematically inspected and tested before dispatch.
- The design and construction of these standard lifts comply with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
- All our models are supplied with CE conformity marking.
