The challenge

We were approached by the regional technical manager of Chaines Thermales du Soleil in Jonzac, to ease the difficult work of their operators. The task involves moving laundry trolleys up an inclined ramp from level 0 to level 1. The operators have to load and unload 2 laundry trolleys manually on this ramp, over and over again.

The Atlas Lift solutions

ATLAS LIFT and its design office proposed a dock lift table to make it easier to move the laundry trolleys from level 1 to level 0 and back, and to relieve the operators of the arduous nature of their tasks. We had to adapt to the complexity of the site, located in a former vaulted stone quarry (fragile and crumbly). The customer also wished to keep an existing ramp. We therefore integrated the lifting platform into the loading dock while preserving the existing ramp.
