ATLAS LIFT lifting equipment complies with European standards.

Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Lift table standard EN 1570-1. Mobile elevating work platform standard EN 280.

ATLAS LIFT takes part in the various committees of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) responsible for drafting the new EN 1570-1 lift table standards.

All our ATLAS LIFT lifting equipment is designed and manufactured in accordance with the European standards EN 1570-1 for lift tables and EN 280 for mobile personnel lifting platforms.
Our equipment fully complies with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

Each unit is supplied with operating and maintenance instructions and the EC declaration of conformity. Work platforms designed to lift persons to a height of more than 3 metres are subject to EC type-examination by a notified body (CETIM, APAVE, etc.)

Below is a non-exhaustive list of the safety features fitted to our ATLAS LIFT lift tables and goods lifts, depending on the configuration:

  • Platform with non-slip surface,
  • Anti-shear safety frame,
  • Guardrails and safety gates,
  • Limited lifting and lowering speeds,
  • Maintenance props to lock the platform in position,
  • Mechanical locking of the platform in the event of a hydraulic leak,
  • Pressure relief valve in the event of overload,
  • Flexible or rigid guarding of the lifting area,
  • Control station locking system…
