Our customer SNCF wanted new lifting platforms to allow several operators to move around, get close to the train and be raised to height. The purpose of these platforms is to provide access to the sides, the nose and the roof of passenger trainsets standing on a railway track. They thus ensure the safety of operators and of staff working nearby.

Accordingly, the equipment we proposed is designed to move along three orthogonal axes.

Specifications of each lifting platform:

• Lifting capacity: 500 daN
• Platform deck dimensions: 8.75 x 6 m
• Travel (vertical movement): 3.05 m
• Lifting or lowering speed, unladen or loaded: 47 mm/s
• Total unladen weight of each fully equipped lifting platform: 8,190 kg
• 1 safety guardrail, 1.10 m high
• 1 pump for emergency operation/mode
