Atlas Lift through the years: lift tables in service for more than 30 years

‘Fabrications Atlas – 17 Saintes’ nameplate no. 10937 on a lift table still in service

During a recent visit to JOUBERT Plywood, we were pleased to see that our equipment, some of it installed several decades ago, is working alongside our most recent models.

The past: more than 30 years of service

The nameplate on one of these tables is the finest example: it still bears the name of our former brand, ‘Fabrications Atlas’, and our Saintes address. Proof of outstanding reliability: these lift tables run on two shifts, or even three, and the oldest has been doing so for more than 30 years! This is a far, far cry from planned obsolescence…

The present: our tables of today, by its side

At JOUBERT Plywood, this table works alongside our most recent tables. Between them lie several decades of technical and regulatory change, but one and the same requirement: robustness.

A technical file found with ease

Back in Saintes, we wanted to find the technical file for the oldest table in our archives. It took no effort at all: there it was, in one of our boxes, and the original drawing does indeed bear the same order number as the nameplate, 10937.

Building the future on the past and the present

Our company builds its future on its history, and we intend to keep doing so. Capturing and retaining knowledge is a matter of the utmost importance: keeping technical files means preserving the record of every unit we have delivered, a valuable asset for our after-sales service. And the experience built up on yesterday’s units shapes the design of tomorrow’s.

Investing in made in France means investing for the long term.
