RAPIDO, a national motorhome manufacturer in France, asked for our support with the design of a lifting platform. The customer’s existing equipment had mechanical weaknesses and no longer complied with current standards. Working in partnership with the customer’s technical department, ATLAS LIFT redefined the specifications for this ergonomic workstation.

The customer’s aim was to find a suitable solution enabling one or more operators to work safely all around the vehicle. They wanted to provide more ergonomic and more efficient working conditions

Technical specifications of the lifting platform:

• Lifting capacity: 1,000 daN
• Platform dimensions: 9,740 x 4,200 mm
• Travel: 2,050 mm
• Lifting or lowering speed under load: 54 mm/s
• Total weight of the unit: 7,994 kg
• Welded safety guardrail, 1,100 mm high, on the rear and side
• Synchronised self-levelling staircase on one of the operator walkways
